(Side note: for those of you [like me] who enjoy the deliciously trashy Pretty Little Liars series, you know that anyone who calls themselves “A” is never good news. Although still united in many ways, Douglas and Connie do end up going their separate ways. While these missing moments would have added something more to the story, their absence does not affect the series as a whole. With the focus leaning more towards Douglas's actions, the revelation that Connie had a brief affair early in the marriage is left out of the drama. How Sweet Magnolias is different from the books, Here's how Andy Serkis's Jungle Book differs, Peaky Blinders star explains how new show differs, Stargirl has "different feel" to Arrowverse shows. Sci-fi (aka speculative fiction) is all about asking and answering “What if?”, and some of my favorite sci-fi books have preposterous looking “what if” questions, but the writing and story were so good that I never once got in the mindset of “how or why could this possibly happen?”. The family drama is that Lindsey is absolutely, 100 percent cheating on Nick, which the movie devotes one scene to, then drops completely. Glad I found this post though, enjoyable read! Ack!
